Trailer for ‘Black Nativity’

The very popular off-Broadway musical Black Nativity, based on Langston Hughe’s play, is coming to the big screen this year. The movie narrates the quest of a teenage boy, son of a single mother, who travels to New York with the purpose of spending the holidays with distant relatives.

The movie adaptation will be directed by Kasi Lemmons (The Caveman’s Valentine, Talk to me) and feature the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Mary J. BligeTyrese Gibson and Jacob Latimore.
